BSS IDEA - WINTER SCENE DIE

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF WEEKLY IDEA.

Cold enough for ya?  WOW, we turn our heat down at night, and the kitchen floor has been
so cold in the mornings, we have adjusted how much to turn it down.

I feed the squirrels and birds, and they have been coming in flocks to eat.
Even a bunny or two has been visiting to eat the seed on the ground.

Supposed to get more normal this week.  Keep warm and cozy.

This weeks card is made with a beautiful winter die.
I cut the die out and colored some things, and paper pieced behind
the lights, the windows, and the mountains and ground.

Then I cut a piece of glossy card stock and sponged it with distress ink,
stamped the snow with white pigment ink and set it with a heat tool.
I placed a small circle on the paper before I started to ink it to form
a full moon.I then adhered the sponged piece behind the die.

How absolutely stunning Sue, I love the card and your night sky is terrific, beautifully desined.
Our news showed the Falls frozen over and N.Y. in a snow blizzard, extremely bad weather in lots of places. We are in the minuses just now too, you keep cosy, Kate x

This is beautiful. Great scene. I love the colors and the dies.

I'm a weenie when it comes to the cold. I don't know how you stand it. I'm glad the local wildlife are getting fed. We have been blessed with some beautiful Baltimore Orioles and Bluebirds here in Florida. Once the cold weather leaves they will leave, too. It's awesome to see them out there with the cardinals, rosy finch, woodpeckers, titmice and a few other variety. No bunnies though. Normally when the red bellied woodpecker flies in he scares and scatters all the other birds off temporarily. [Bunny]

Happy New Year, Sue! What a great card to begin the new year, especially with the way Mother Nature has been bestowing her white beauty across your area. Brrr cold! Loving your pretty, bold blue theme, and the lovely way that MS punch looks on the inside. I will definitely be casing that idea for future creations with my larger punches from MS. Beautiful card! hugs, de
