You're going to love today's cards, yes, cards, I couldn't just make one with
this fun die!
Looks like Raspberry sherbet to me!! YUM!
Neapolitan Triple Decker, strawberry swirl, chocolate swirl, and
vanilla swirl......triple YUM.
How did I make these wonderful ice cream cone cards?
With the Stephanie Barnard Die Set from Sizzix.. You get
everything you see on my cards in the set with the exception of
the Swirl Embossing Folder I used on the triple decker by Cuttlebug.
Right down to the Cherry and Sprinkles on top!
Here is what I used to create the card.
White card stock for the card base.
Papers used -Pink, Cream, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Glossy red, Green, Pink Glitter
Lime Glitter card stocks.
Just cute the dies out and put a sweet (pun intended) card together, that
both children and grownups alike will love!
To make the base card, just cut two pieces of card stock with the base die.
On one of them, score and crease a line across the top of the ice cream
about 1/4-1/2 inches from the top. adhere to the other piece that will be the front of the card.
This will make a tent fold card that will open and close easily.
For the triple decker card, I just cut three of the ice cream die pieces in
different "flavors" and attached them close together, leaving enough to
show the colors before adhering to the card front.
For the "chocolate topping, I cut from dark brown paper. On the one scoop
cone, I inked it with a versafine ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I cut the Cherry out with red glossy paper and green paper. I glued the red over
the green one and cut the red stem off.
What a fun die set! Hope you liked the ice cream cones!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Until later......

I'll scream for ice cream any day. These are cute and I like the swirled embossing on the one card. They both look yummy. [Bunny]
