Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

First, congratulations to Sharon and Mark for making
it to the front page of the Sunday Morning Buffalo News.
Sharon did an interview and pictures were taken on
the effect of the shutdown of  "non-essential" businesses
on small business owners.

EXPECT a new way of doing business when stores reopen after pandemic
Paper arts stores like Buffalo Stamps & Stuff are an endangered species in the digital age. Owner Sharon Klima has kept the Amherst store viable for 30 years by offering personal classes and creating a touch-and-feel haven for crafters and artists.
“I pride myself on everything being hands on. We have a huge inventory to see and touch. There are tons of samples everywhere,” she said. “When people come in for the first time, they’re overwhelmed because there’s eye candy everywhere.”
Now, that will all have to change as Klima and retailers across New York prepare to reopen under a lengthy list of new state rules governing cleaning, protective equipment, screening and physical distancing to fight coronavirus.

I have a cute card for you today.

It's a die set from Impression Obsession called Chicken (DIE787V)
I used various papers to cut them out and a woodgrain paper background oval
which I ran through a Chicken Wire embossing folder.
Oval dies - Waffle Flower
Word Sentiment - Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection papers
This was fun to put together.
Finished card is 4 1/4x51/2 inches

That's it for me this Monday.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek.
Stay Safe
Until later............

A super card Sue, a fun Chicken and Chicks.
Things certainly will be different when we come out of this, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for smaller stores that rely on the human touch!

I love the papers you used for the chicken and chicks.

We don't want our little mom and pop stores to go away. You're so lucky to have one. I hope they are still going to be able to operate. [Bunny]

So cute Sue, it's a fabulous card. I hope your local craft shop are able to make the changes needed to survive. There will have to be lots of changes right across the board when we emerge from this pandemic, it's so awful, keep safe, Kate x
