Card is 5x7 inches white cardstock base.
Stamp set is Stamping Bella, Uptown Couple, Emily
and Ryan under the Umbrella (eb239)
Two sentiments included, the one on the inside of this
card, and also "For your bridal shower"
Die is Spellbinders Devine Floral (S5-231)

Paper - die cute from Orchid pearlescent paper
2 one inch square pieces of the same paper were cut then
cut in half in triangles to be attached in back of the

I stamped and colored the image. I then layed the die on the image
and marked where the longest edges were with a pencil.  I then trimmed
the image along the mark.  Adhered the die.  I stamped and colored
the umbrella only, and cut it out.  Then popped it up on top of the
image over the die.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - One Stamp Two Ways

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This week I used this wonderful brush stroke flower stamp from Penny Black to
make two completely different looks.  One elegant, one vintage looking.
Despite the snow this weekend, I am so looking forward to Spring and flowers.

Supplies
Stamp - Penny Black-Passionate (40-453)

First Card (4 1/4x5 1/2 inches)
I added dye ink directly to the stamp with a finger
sponge applicator.  Used a light blue and green in for he leaves.
Stamped onto white card.  I added the darker blue details on the
flowers with a copic marker after I stamped it.  I then cut out
the oval, and sprayed it with a mixture of
Perfect pearls and water in a mini mixture.
I added it to a decorative oval of blue card stock.
The white panel corners were made with a Martha Stewart punch.

The second card 5 1/2 x 6 tent folded card

Stamp - Penny Black Passionate (40-453)
Paper - Tan card base, Kraft
Ink - Walnut, Distress Ink
I cut three panels from Kraft Paper.
Then, I stamped the stamp on each panel, centering it.
I then distressed all edges of each panel and
using the walnut ink pad, added ink to the distressed edges.
Adhere the largest panel to the card base centering it.
Pop up the next two panels, lining up the stamped images.
Add a bow to bottom stem on the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day.  Until later.....

BSS MONDAY IDEA - I LOVE OLD THINGS

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

I love old things. When I saw this stamp, it reminded me of my Grandma,
who lived upstairs from us. She had a Singer Sewing Machine in black
with the gold scroll on it.

When I climbed the stairs to go see her, I could
hear the hum of the machine before I opened the door to go in.  She made
so many wonderful things for us as kids

.  So, I just had to have this wonderful stamp.

Stamp - Pink Ink Stamp Company, Sewing Machine (2222K)
I used white, red, black and gold card stock
Rectangle stitched dies
Colored with Copics
I used a gold krylon pen, expelled some ink on a piece of
foil and painted the gold on with a fine paint brush.
Inside sentiment was computer generated and says:
You can't make old friends, you either have
them, or you don't.

I love when a stamp evokes a memory!
Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later......
