Spring Chicks

Hello, and thanks for stopping by today. Megan came over today with her cousin and they molded candy. They probably made about three pounds and when they were done they had it all in the middle of the table and I gave them each a bag and they split it up to take home. They had a good time and we flavored it with raspberry, cherry, mint and orange. They did a good job. I should have grabbed my camera, but forgot. The card to day is a Penny Black card which I did for the Saturday Penny Black Challenge. The challenge was to create a Spring card. Well, I had the bright idea to make an actual spring card. The tutuorial is at split coast stampers in the resources. You make a few folds. The card folds for mailing and when taken out of the envelope springs back up, hence the name a spring card. For the spring theme challenge, I used Spring Chicks. The punches chicks are from a punch by Fiscars. Ribbon with the word Spring is glued across the bottom. I made a matching envelope in the background of the picture. Hope you had a relaxing Sunday. Temps going down overnight here, so will need a coat in the morning. Until later..........
